The D Casino Reviews
Casino at The D
There are two distinct casinos at The D. The downstairs is a traditional casino with table games and slot machines. The upstairs is a throwback to classic Las Vegas. It offers video poker and other coin operated games. Many of these games offer superior returns. There is a direct up escalator to the second floor from the Fremont Street Experience. Players that wish to leave the second floor must exit by going down an interior escalator to the main casino floor.
The D table games area is a nonstop party pit. It is home to two games that are not found anywhere else in Las Vegas; Deuces Wild Hold’em Fold’em and Pai Gow Mania. Other proprietary games include Three Card Poker, Let it Ride, and Ultimate Texas Hold’em. The minimum bet for all games is $5. The max bet is $50 for the proprietary card games, except Three Card Poker, which has a $200 max.
There are six shoe blackjack games where double down after splitting is allowed. The limits are $5-$1,000. There is a double deck blackjack game with the same rules with a $10 minimum. Free Bet Blackjack and Single Deck Super Fun 21 are available with $5-$500 limits.
The D offers two double zero roulette tables with a $5 minimum bet. These games have the Riverboat Roulette side bets where special neighborhoods are offered as side bets. There are two $5-$5,000 craps tables that offer 10 times odds.
There is a high limit area with baccarat, roulette, and three blackjack tables. The bet limits are $50-$2,500.
Outside of the table games pits, the lower level of The D casino floor is like most others. There is reasonable video poker and a multitude of penny slot machines.
The second floor of The D is like going back in a time machine. It is full of coin operated video poker machines. Some machines return over 100%. This includes a bank of 10/7/5 Double Bonus Poker and the loosest machine in Las Vegas; Loose Deuces with a $.05 denomination.
The upstairs also offers one of only two Sigma Derby machines in Las Vegas. This is a virtual horse racing game with six seats. The machine only accepts quarters. It is a fun game with a cult following. There are only five of these machines left in the world.
The D is one of the only places in Las Vegas where patrons can turn bitcoins into cash using their bitcoin ATM. While there are fees, they are not terribly excessive, sitting at 5-7%.
The upstairs also hosts a William Hill sports book that accepts deposits for the mobile app. A keno lounge is also located in the top level.
Hotel at The D

The top dining choice at The D is the Andiamo Italian Steakhouse. It is managed by the Joe Vicari Restaurant Group. It is open from 5pm to 11pm nightly. A wide range of steak, seafood, and Italian dishes are served. An extensive wine list is also offered.
The D Grill is a high end café that offers a wide breakfast menu, soups, sandwiches, and dinner entrees. It is open from 7am to 10pm daily.
There are two quick serve restaurants on the property. McDonald’s is open 24 hours a day. It is located by the west entrance of the casino. American Coney Island is located near the east entrance. It also has access directly from Fremont Street. It serves Dearborn Sausage products and is open 24 hours a day. It is the only location outside of Michigan.
Bars at The D
There are two bars at The D. Longbar is located downstairs and has huge televisions showing all major sporting events. There is also video poker at this bar, but all games are unplayable. The Vue Bar is located upstairs and has a patio overlooking Fremont Street. There are also a few blackjack tables at Vue Bar.
