Casinos Open Pennsylvania
Casinos are already starting to reopen as Pennsylvania enters the “green” phase of its three-phase reopening process. To maintain social distancing, casinos must limit the gaming floor and restaurants to 50% capacity (they will have customer counters at the entrances and disable certain slot machines).
The Chester, Pennsylvania casino was putting the finishes touches on all of the changes it needed to undergo to open as the region moves to the green phase of Governor Tom Wolf's reopening plan. — Channel 11 got a tour of the exciting state-of-the-art elements at the new “Live! Casino Pittsburgh” coming to Hempfield Township. After Wolf’s conference, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) ordered the closure of the remaining six open casinos. Online casinos in Pennsylvania remained open for business. The PGCB press release said in part.
